Accommodations
 Quimby's offers three-season accommodations in our 20 well-kept cabins. Nine of the cabins have kitchens and all 20 have wood stoves, porches overlooking Forest Lake, comfortable beds and daily maid service.
In addition, the main lodge has a fireplace, library, and chessboard and the rec hall provides space for crafts and games on rainy days. Wireless is available in the main lodge, along with complimentary long distance phone calls.
In summer, guests get a sit down breakfast and dinner in our comfortable dining room, a boxed or picnic lunch, complimentary camp counselors to arrange activities for visiting youngsters, and lakeside lobster cookouts once a week, weather permitting.
In fall and spring, guests are on their own for meals and can stay in one of the nine cottages with kitchens. There is no television available, but who needs TV when there are galaxies of stars to gaze at nightly given the clear mountain air?

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring?
Please bring personal toiletries (shampoo, etc.). It gets cold in the Northeast Kingdom, no matter what the season. Bring a fleece and a raincoat, just in case.
Check In
3:00 PM the day of your scheduled arrival.
Check Out
We ask that all guests be checked out of their cottages by 11:00 AM. Please contact the manager if additional time is needed.
Office Hours
The office is open during the season from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Staff will always be on location if any needs shall arise.
 Minimum Stays
Quimby's has a minimum stay policy of two nights during the summer. Please contact the manager with any questions or if flexibility is needed.

Pet Policy
We do allow obedient and well behaved pets (and guests). Guests will be required to control and clean-up after their pets. A damage fee may be assessed if any occurs. Please contact the office with any special needs or requirements.
Cabin Housekeeping is provided in all cabins daily. Nine cabins have full kitchens, including cookware, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and flatware. Each cabin has a wood-burning stove.
Telephone
A phone is available in the main lodge, with unlimited long distance. There is no cell phone reception within Quimby Country.
 WIFI
Free wireless is available in the main lodge.
Credit Cards
Quimby's now accepts credit cards (Visa, MC, Discover, and American Express)! But, we offer a 5% discount for cash (in US currency) or personal/corporate checks.
Fishing and Hunting Licenses
Vermont Fishing and Hunting Licenses are available online as well as from the Lakeview Store, 2 miles away. New Hampshire licenses are available at Solomon's Grocery, 20 minutes away in W. Stewartstown, NH.
Passports
Quimby's is just three miles from Quebec with many entertaining activities. New laws require a passport or other proof of citizenship for travel between the US and Canada. Consult the US Embassy here for more information.
