Quimby Country has been a summer retreat for generations of families. Set on beautiful Forest Lake, it offers a sense of friendship and family fun far removed from the pressures of the outside world.

Our rates include:
Your own private cottage overlooking Forest Lake, with at least one private bath, complete with rocking chairs on the porch. Complimentary use of our variety of boats on Forest, Big Averill, and Little Averill lakes, tennis court, game room, and lodge. All rates are per person per night, children under 3 are free.

  Spring Season (5/23 - 6/23)
A great time for spring fishing and wildlife viewing. Cottages with kitchens and daily maid service. Large Party rates with or without meals are available upon request.

Our Early Bird and Mid Seasons feature full American Plan (3 meals a day), daily maid service, counselors for the children, and plenty of activities for everyone.

  Fall Foliage (8/26 - 10/12)
We offer the earliest foliage viewing in New England. Kitchen cottages with daily maid service. Large Party rates with or without meals are available upon request.

Prices do not include the 9% Vermont Rooms and Meals tax. A 12% gratuity is added to Early Bird and Mid Season rates. An 8% gratuity for the Spring and Fall seasons. A deposit of 50% of the room rate is required to confirm a reservation. Payment by cash or check only.

  Reservation and cancellation policy:
When a reservation is made prior to February 1st, a 10% deposit to hold the reservation must be received within 30 days, or the reservation remains open to other clients. A 40 % confirmation is due no later than March 15th. If the confirmation deposit is not received by March 15th, the reservation remains open to other clients.

Reservations after March 15th require a 50% deposit to be received within five days.

All reservations that do not include two Saturdays will be charged at the Daily rate.

If a reservation is canceled 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival, the advance deposit will be refunded except for a $100 cancellation fee.

Reservations that are canceled within 60 days of the scheduled arrival, the advance deposit will be refunded when the resort is able to rebook the space, except for a $150 cancellation fee. If the resort is unable to fill the space, the advance deposit will not be refunded.

Reservations that are shortened during the stay will be charged 50% of the rate plus the 9% Vermont Rooms and Meals Tax, for the lost days.

Reservations for the next year will be accepted from stockholders and repeat guests, (coming 3 times within 5 years), starting on January 2nd at 8 AM. For example: January 2, 2007 for reservations in 2008. All other reservations for the following year will be accepted after May 1st.

Management will try to accommodate requests for certain cottages, but reserves the right to change cottage assignments to best accommodate all of our guests.
